The Purge first came into our lives in 2013 as a controversial b-horror movie. In an alternate future “The New Founding Father’s of America” have create a one night where all crime including murder is illegal.
The trilogy has elevated from a one night home invasion story, to a full blown political horror thriller that has people talking and some dickheads last year tried to make a real life one happen (spoiler alert: didn’t work)
The next film will be a prequel, documenting how the whole movement came to be and the TV show will be a 10-hour anthology series showing what it can lead too. We can’t wait!
