00s Teen Queen Lindsay Lohan has been a pop culture staple for the better part of a decade. With memorable film highlights including Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded and a criminally underrate music career (Rumours was slept on tbh) but recently her acting roles have been lacking the big blockbuster draw of her earlier career.
Although she has been enjoying modest theatre success with her part in Speed-The-Plow on the West End, Lindsay’s movies have been fascinating to say the least.
So the announcement of Miss Lohan’s latest project ‘The Shadow Within’ has been gaining a lot of attention.
To be shown at the Cannes Film Market 2016, The Shadow Within follows Lindsay Lohan’s character Patricia, a private investigator who looks into her uncle’s death while dealing with the repercussions of her werewolf lineage.
Tbh, sounds pretty good to me.
Recently released pictures show a very muted and quiet picture, a world away from the flashy supernatural blockbusters we’re used too. Directed by Tiago Mesquita and written by Mark Morgan The Shadow Within will be released in 2017.
