The Gilmore Girls Revival one of the most highly anticipated TV events of 2016. After being off air for seven years fans we’re anxious too see what life had in story for Lorelei and Rory. As we depart from the Year in the Life we still have a million more questions…
Rory’s pregnant! Rory is pregnant with Logan’s baby and we still don’t know exactly what is going to happen as Gilmore Girls could lend itself to a pro-choice slant. Or, as many fans have theorised, the ending of Year in the Life, leads Rory to a predicament that mirrors her mothers.
With Logan and Rory’s relationship resembling her mother’s and Christopher’s while Jess remains in her life as a sort of Luke figure.
Milo Ventimiglia was asked about it at the recent Critics’ Choice Awards…
“I think it would be good for Jess to be like Luke because Luke is a good guy,” he told Entertainment Weekly . “He’s a little stubborn with the diner, with the way that he likes things, but who he is as a man is a very good man and Scott Patterson [who plays Luke], same thing. That was the most fun to be back on set with him.”
“Let’s think of it in terms of who is Amy going to set up to fight for Rory’s affection…Will it be she’s carrying Logan’s child and Jess is going to fight for her because Logan’s going to be schmucky, or is Logan, the rich guy, going to fight for her and Jess is going to be schmucky? I don’t know. I’m thinking it’s Logan’s kid and Jess is going to fight for her.”
Although nothing has been confirmed thus far in terms of Gilmore Revival season two or if the relationship symmetry is even the way they’re planning on going but fans definitely don’t feel like Rory and Lorelei’s story is done yet.
