As we shake off what’s left of 2016 and naively pretend that 2017 is going too be better we’re greeted with a bevy of prestige Indie movies for the New Year.
The Last Word is shaping up to be a sweet movie about Harriet, a control-freak who decides too write her own obituary. Enlisting young journalist Anne whom discovers Harriet’s life story is anything but perfect, the two set up out too reshape the legacies.
Starring Amanda Seyfried and Shirley MacLaine, Directed by Mark Pellington ( Mothman Prophecies) and the first screen play by Stuart Ross Fink , I have a feeling that The Last Word might just be the kind of tragically heartwarming story we’ll need in 2017.
