As the world’s most famous Drag Queen RuPaul’s origin story is the stuff of legends. So it seems like a TV show based on his life has been a long time coming, as it’s been announced the team behind Bad Robot and Drag Race are teaming up to create the comedy-drama.

RuPaul’s rise through the club scenes in the eighties and onto international stardom is one hell of an interesting journey and has the potential to make a star out of whoever is cast in the titular role.
